Second Saturday Swing at Body Fitness

This is our monthly swing dance at Body Fitness!

Come out for an hour long east-coast lesson followed by some DJed music. Come as a couple or by yourself and have a swinging good time!

Lesson + Dance: $8/single $12/couple $5/students (with school ID)

Dance Only: $5/single $8 couple $3/students (with school ID)

Fall Workshop

When: October 16th-18th
Where: University of Illinois

The Illinois Swing Society Fall Workshop: October 16-18, 2009 For the first time ever, The Swing Society at The University of Illinois will be bringing hosting three options of instructors to Champaign-Urbana! Starting October 16th, Julee Mertz and Marty Klempner and Caitlin Baird and Jonathan Tigert will holding two concurrent sets of lessons! Best of all: the workshop is completely free to all UIUC students! Full details at the Official Site

Lessons start at 7:00 PM, the Sally Weisenburg band starts playing at 8.

Whistle Stop

Purdue Night Train presents acclaimed Swing Instructors Steve Garrett and Heidi Salerno to teach Whistle Stop 2009.

Heidi and Steve will teach One Day of Lindy Hop and One Day of Balboa.
